I've been blogging for several months now, and I think I've done individual blogs about each of the kids now except for Alexis. So, without further ado--here is Alexis with her new hair cut!
She wanted it short in the back and long in the front, a lot like Kaylee's hair, and she definately got it! We had it done at the local beauty school (because I'm cheap and needed to get three kids' hair cut that day). The lady definately cut it very short in the back, I think a little shorter than I expected, but Alexis is happy with it and that's what matters most.
Since this blog is all about Alexis I get to brag about her a little bit. She has really been a huge help to me lately. She's always been great with her younger sibblings, but she is just so helpful with Trista lately. She plays with her and takes care of her, helps her eat her freezie pops, reads her stories, and takes her outside to play. What a great big sister! Alexis is still doing great in school and enjoys going each day to learn and participate. She has also been taking piano lessons since Christmas and is progressing well. This week she was so excited because for her master class she got to play a duet with her teacher in front of all the other students!
I love my Alexis and am so glad to have her for my oldest child. What a blessing she is to our family!
